Senior Sales Representative – Institutional Business Development
Western Region – CA, OR, WA, AK, HI
Federated Hermes is seeking a Senior Sales Representative to cover a multi-state territory in the western United States including public and private pension plans, foundations, endowments, unions, health care organizations, family offices, religious affiliations, and other entities to explain Federated Hermes’ investment products, processes, and staff. The successful candidate will possess prior institutional sales experience and a demonstrated history of sales success.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:
· Develop and execute an institutional business plan in the territory;
· Aggressively cultivate sales opportunities with clients and prospective clients and close the sale of investment products.
- May develop marketing programs for existing clients to increase assets.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s degree required; CFA, CFP, and/or Master’s degree strongly preferred
· 5 years of experience selling to institutional clients required
· Knowledge of financial markets required
· Knowledge of target market’s decision processes required
· In-depth knowledge of financial products required; knowledge of Federated Hermes’ and competitors’ financial products preferred
· Must possess/obtain FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 licenses immediately
- Location: Field office within territory; California preferred
· Must possess/maintain a valid driver’s license
- Must be open to irregular hours, heavy travel
· Will be required to sign an employment agreement

For California Job Applicants: The annual base salary range for this position is $135,000 - $260,000. In determining salary multiple factors will be taken into consideration such as primary work location, experience, education and skill set. In addition to base salary, this position includes eligibility for a bonus. Annual bonuses generally range from 50% to 200% of base salary and are determined by considering a variety of factors including some or all of the following: gross sales, net sales, asset growth, revenue and attainment of business-based objectives. Certain employees may be eligible to participate in a Long-Term Incentive Plan. We offer our Employees (and, as applicable, their dependents) medical, dental, prescription, vision, and basic life insurance benefits. Additionally, Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401(k) plan. Each calendar year employees are eligible for paid leave which includes fifteen vacation days, seven ill days, and ten holidays.
