Job Description: IR/Business Development Associate (3+ years of experience)
Location: New York, NY (hybrid work)
Salary Range: $100-150k annual salary (commensurate with experience) plus discretionary bonus

Brinley Partners, LP is a rapidly growing asset manager based in New York City with over $4 billion of assets under management. The firm is looking for an investor relations / business development associate to join our growing team. Brinley focuses on private credit investments in market-leading businesses with defensible positions and resilient free cash flow.
The candidate should have some experience in fund marketing, investor relations, and/or business development, preferably within the context of a private credit or alternative asset manager. Knowledge of direct lending, investing or leverage finance is a plus. The candidate will support our existing Business Development team in maintaining a high-quality, accurate and systematic approach to investor outreach and dialogue. Responsibilities will include helping to identify prospects, drafting presentations, RFPs, DDQs and other materials and managing our CRM.

Candidate Background / Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development or investor relations, preferably within the context of a private credit firm or an alternative asset manager
PowerPoint and Excel skills
Strong work ethic, communication skills and team-player attitude
