Summary:
The primary purpose of this role is supporting the business development and fundraising function of the Firm. This position requires a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and writing and conversational skills. The VP must be a self-starter, problem solver, and willing to support the other members of the business development team while also having the ability to generate new leads. This position requires the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with eagerness to learn all facets of the private equity industry.
Duties & Responsibilities:
-Manage and support relationships with the Firm’s existing investors.
-Identify, develop, and cultivate relationships with new prospects: endowments, foundations, family offices, corporate/public pensions, consultants, and advisors.
-Participate alongside other members of the firm at in-person meetings, facilitating quarterly update calls, meetings, travel, and responding to requests for information.
-Provide support to senior members of the team with tasks including qualitative and quantitative data requests, cash flow analysis as well as tracking current fundraising opportunities for each investment strategy and maintaining the firm’s proprietary CRM database with daily updates to accounts and contacts into the CRM.
-Pitch all investment opportunities of the firm to existing and prospective limited partners to fundraise for each investment strategy: Primary Fund-of-Funds, Secondary Funds, Co-invest Funds.
Qualifications:
Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Management or related field
-3+ years of sales, marketing, or fundraising experience
-Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time
-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Salesforce
